This is D'raknor. Carved from Yew with Tagua nut teeth on a twisted Ash shank. Winner in the Dragon carving contest run by Woodc@rvers E-zine These are two of the first sticks I ever made. Both prize winners, the trout is in Oak and the Cobra in Hazel (one piece).
This is the top of an impressive stick that I made for a Viking Rune Reader. It is made from Ash (shank and top) with Horn claws holding in the Crystal ball. The commission was made difficult because Carl wanted to use it in battle to, "Bash Christians" (he belongs to a Medieval Society). (Click on the pic to see how I made it)
You will soon realize, I like Dragons :) (click on picture to see it bigger) Last updated 07 May 2001 © Mik Strevens 25/6/2000 |
